Job Description
CAD Stage (Designing): Engineers use software like Autodesk Fusion or SolidWorks to build virtual 3D models. These models capture exact dimensions, materials, and tolerances.CAM Stage (Manufacturing): The completed digital model moves into CAM software. The program analyzes the geometry and generates specific cutting paths, known as toolpaths.Machine Execution: The CAM software translates these toolpaths into G-code (a numerical language). This code is sent to CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machines, 3D printers, or cutters to build the physical object.
